The 2012 date often quoted as being the date
for the End Of The World originates from the
Mayan Calendar. The Mayans where very advanced
in all concepts of mathematics and astronomy.
They recorded the track of the lunar and solar
years, eclipses as well as the cycles of the
planets visible at night and used this data to
plan their calendar.
Their calendar was
calculated according to the movements of the
planets and stars, after recording their cycles
over generations. The calendar is in many ways,
a map of the solar movements. What's actually
the case is that we're approaching the end on
the solar cycle, not the end of the world. The
Maya calendar simply starts from the beginning
again, continuing to plot the movements of the
planets in their orbit around the sun.
Does
the Mayan calendar predict that in 2012 End of the World
will come?

Some others believe that the movements of the planets
and the gravitational pull they create on our
own planet, when aligned as they are at the end
on the
Maya calendar, will create great carnage
on here on Earth. They believe that great floods and
earthquakes and eruptions will occur and kill
millions.
When will the End of the World come about?
How long is a piece of string? The world could
end tomorrow if we where hit by a meteorite.
Some believe that it'll be us humans who will
ultimately bring about the end of the world.
With bigger bombs and more wars going on around
the world than you could shack a stick at, it
does seem like the most plausible scenario.

taking into consideration all the possible
scenarios to bring about the End of the World,
